The Advanced Master in International Business Strategy and Engineering celebrated its 10th anniversary and welcomed its 1,000th participant in 2007, counting full- and part-time students.
The goal of this program is to train professionals specializing in international affairs, including strategists, negotiators, financiers, marketing specialists, and managers well-versed in cultural differences.
This is an interdisciplinary training program, giving high-level executives a chance to gain a global vision of the company in a context of international expansion, and thus increase their career opportunities.
Admission
To be eligible, French and foreign candidates must show at least 3 years of professional experience and hold a degree from a French or foreign university of at least a Bac+4 or equivalent level (Master, engineering school, management school, 3rd cycles: DEA, DESS: University Masters, etc.).

- Management ability test (TAGE MAGE or GMAT)
- English language test (TOEFL or TOEIC) or the ESSEC English test
- Interview with the Education Director.
ESSEC Executive Education regularly organizes TAGE MAGE and TOEIC testing sessions.

A 10-day study seminar is organized abroad (Eastern Europe, Singapore, etc.)
All classes are conducted in English.
The program is organized into 2 phases:
- Management tools and methods (management control, financial analysis, etc.),
- Guiding change and new organizations (impact of change on organizations, directing a change, etc.), in addition to a seminar and an educational trip abroad.
Experience sharing:
Sharing experience and expertise between participants is another integral part of the educational dynamic. It also serves as the link between learning and corporate action. Attendance at sessions and participation in discussions are therefore essential.
Professional thesis:
Participants must complete a professional thesis. This demanding project concerns a corporate issue and leads to concrete proposals, thus giving each participant the chance to immediately apply the concepts, methods, and tools gained during the training program.
