ESSEC hosts the 38th edition of the Tournoi des 5 Ballons (T5B)

The 38th edition of the Tournoi des 5 Ballons (T5B) will be held on April 9-14, 2017 on the ESSEC campus in Cergy. Every year, the tournament, organized by the ESSEC Business School Sports Office (BDS) brings together athletes from around the world to compete in the five main team sports, i.e. football, rugby, volleyball, basketball and handball.
More than 700 athletes from 20 delegations and from 12 different countries are expected to participate and to compete in more than 200 matches.
All day long, the T5B Village, located on the campus, is the place to be to relax between games while enjoying numerous refreshments, various activities (table tennis, theme days…) or a well-deserved nap in the sun.
Organized by students, for students, the entire school will be mobilized for this event that required nine long months of intense and thorough preparation. More than 200 student volunteers from ESSEC will help to ensure the tournament runs smoothly and will also be present to welcome the athletes, as well as the 25 referees and the 8 physiotherapists who will be attending the event.
